He Is There - Poem by Jamie Haddock

I'm driving through a thunder storm.
Lightning flashes and the thunder rolls
Through the wipers I can't see ahead,
Sometimes that's life, but God Knows;

In our lives when it is raining
and the sun doesn't want to shine
Jesus stands there beside me
He never leaves, Hes there all the time.

When we call out to God in pain
Wondering if the sun will shine again
Maybe we should take time to pray
That tomorrow may be a brighter day

Jesus knows the hurt we feel
With his nail scarred hands reached out
He is there and He does care
So don't you ever doubt
