He Killed Me Poem by Shayne Chapman(Tucker)

He Killed Me

He hurt me, now I'll never shed the armor around my heart again.
He cracked and chipped it away I think,
Just so he could destroy,
The vulnerable flesh beneath.

He killed me with that last blow.
My armor is back in place,
And it will never be shed again.
No one will ever see me as me again.

He may want all he wants,
But no he should know,
That he can never have.
He will never see me happy again.
He will always see me as a sad shell of what I was,
A ghost in this body, and no soul.

He killed me,
And now he should know,
I'm never going to come back to life.
