He'Ll Lead The Way - Poem by Betty Thompson

As you stand at the top of the Mountain
With uneasy heart and troubled brow
Are you thinking of what is before you
And the burden you're bearing now? Does it seem the whole world's against you
And you must fight the battle alone
Remember when life's at its lowest
That's when God's power is shown. As you gaze out over the mountain
Blinded and weary with pain
Knowing your heart can't endure it
You simply can't bear the strain. Then a small voice whispers within you
"Look up to the Heavens above,"
And lift your hand to the Master
He'll lead the way with His Love.
