he came into her life of despair
while she never expected
for him to show her his world
for him to show her how to love
he cared more than
she could ever know
she cared for him in every way
but he left her all alone
she thought she was
but now hes lookong into those eyes
and he knows that
she isnt the same in those eyes
he knows shes not the girl
that his eyes first came to see
shes growing right infront of him
and shes looking into those loving eyes
who once looked at her before
hes holding onto her for life
while shes letting him go
shes not a little girl
shes a woman with a future
shes gonna hold so dear
hes on his way out the door
while shes only coming in
never on the same page
shes getting scared
and holding all her tears
hes ready to catch those tears
but shes no longer waiting
for him to tell her what she wants
she can feel the tears
as hes holding onto her
she knows she can no longer
hold on to this past
shes looking to her future
and to the one she will come to love
he never expected her
to become this woman
he sees in those eyes of his
shes changing infront of him
at times she cant believe
what shes become
and at times he cant seem to
comprehend whats infront of him
shes never gonna be the same
and he knows shes on her way
