When things are rough and you feel lost in this world
There will always be someone on your side when life's a swirl
All you need to do is pray and ask, and then you shall receive
Reach out to God because all you have to do is just believe

Never let anyone tell you that you are not worthy of him
Because the love of God is for you as well as for them
His light shines on the just and the unjust cause he knows us very well
He knew what you would do before your thoughts were able to dwell

You see here on earth we are given the gift of free will
This enables us to make right or wrong choices for the life we build
But God knows that we have everything we need inside to make a clear choice
But sometimes we go wayward and become deaf to his heavenly voice

Sometimes our hearts may cry out because of the storms that unfold
But when we pray to the heavens, much will be given for us to behold
Whether you are young, old, rich or poor or maybe in between
Gods love for you will always embrace you, and forever be seen

The trials and tribulations that we all endure is a test for our souls
Can we overcome what stands in our way, and reach our heavenly goals
The answer is yes, because God gives us his blessings in every way
The fact that we rise every morning is his biggest blessing to us every day

Remember if the blues of life gets you down, and there's no where to turn
Look to the heavens and call out to God, this is what I had to learn
Because when things look bleak and you're too weak to fight back
Gods always there to help you win your battles, and that's a fact

Give God a Chance to cure what you can't endure.
