He's Gone Poem by Marlene Rashidi

He's Gone

He left with no goodbyes,
His scent was blown by the wind,
his smile faded away.
Midnight eyes of his are closed.
'He's gone and won't come back!
stop telling me lies of how, he's here'
mom. He's no ghost, his flesh is now dust
in the grave. I miss him.
If only time could take me back to that momnet,
I would've took that bullet for you. For you,
I could've been the one laying and resting
in the sweet heavens with peace. You're gone, my love.
Manifest yourself for me, this once.
I miss you, and that's what hurts most.
I don't want to forget your smile.
