He Who Shines Poem by AnnaLeia Colburn

He Who Shines

He shines as bright as a field of sunflowers,
A face filled with absolute cheer and joy;
His beauty shining through the most powerful of May showers,
Evoking a love for him that I enjoy;
He is an angel who can't help but outshine others,
Though he is of a nature most humble;
His character shinier than the sunsets of a thousand summers,
With a smile that makes even the strongest stumble;
He is the shiniest of anyone I know, even more so than gold,
And is with whom I wish to grow old.
