He Who Waits For No Man Poem by Melpomene's Tears

He Who Waits For No Man

Give me back the time I lost
By pulling me back thru the ages gone south
Waxing moon brings forth the beast
Breaking of chains, borne out of grief
Pull of tides, back and forth
Dance of death and life, forever taut
Tick tock Father Time laughs
You poor fool, awake at last
A blink of the eye, all is lost
Suffering and joy, life at a cost
Breathe your first and enjoy the end
Memories remain, money goes dead
Lies and hurt, hand in hand
Destroys the soul, foundation of sand
The clock ticks but for one age
Use wisely or forever be caged.
