Heal The Failed Promise Poem by Avery Eglantine

Heal The Failed Promise

I seek for this Land I found never
I reached for the top I'll forever
A promise one said I'll be expecting
A pledge deep inside still do its resting

Merely believe that it was illusion
Merely believing that it's true
Weakening hope I'm on confusion
Waiting, I did, still no clue

Asking some love, attention from you
Asking for pledge to be true
You told me you'll do after month or two
Yet nothing you do after date that's due

Tomorrow may not come, It'll be too late
Tomorrow's not sure, It's no joke my dear
Onward success, inspiration and fate
Onwards the time where our fears disappear

Do you remember the words you said?
Do you think I believe in you?
Eleven and one twiced of hours in bed
*Thinking 'bout my feeling for you

Aspiring to be the one beside thee
Aspiring to be one and to be free
Throwing away the words you gave
Trashing all things that I save
Healing the injuries and wounds caused
Hoping to live and survive the curse

-OF YOURS.
