Hear the voice! !
Sweet dreams an' nightmares
Under my bolster they belong
Loud is the morning birdsong
Sunlight illumines awful snares.
The street clang is heard again
That old cacophony of restrain
Long scrutinized and ignored
I can't snore in pain!
Your muscles still unconquered
Big and vague the choir became
With the clamor of ambulance
The story you will defame…
Dead is my appearance
You breathe intolerance
Love the power remain'
Love here, love again.
