Heart Poem by William Lindenmuth

Heart

Slow steady pulse
The days awakening
Slowly increasing
Upright and strong
Rhythm increases
A tympani beckons
Morning breeze stimulates
The pace slowly quickens
A voice calls in the distance
Beat to beat
Aortic voices
Prevail

You do not show the reader what long words you know, but show him the depth of the knowledge you possess, it's brief and holds a story....and you do it with aplomb Well done - Cindy
