Heart Beat Poem by Joanne Muscat

Heart Beat

My heart is just the only thing left beating.
Besides it, all the rest has frozen,
just went still.

Nothing else is moving, not a signal.
All the rest is static,
without life.

What happened?
What went wrong?
Can I do something?

How can I breath life to all the rest?
I don't want to live alone and breathless
with just a heart who's beating cannot rest!
