Heart Break City Poem by kabagambe moses

Heart Break City

Rats attack cats,

Cats fight dogs,

Dogs lick roses,

Dirty brown roses.

In my city,

Heart break city.

Solitude,

The glory of being alone.

Loneliness,

The pain of being alone.

Both get along,

In heart break city.

Loneliness- the lord mayor,

Prisoners of the past,

Laugh in unison's,

Laugh in sadism,

And echoes fill my head.

Every where i run.

The buildings know your name.

And it hurts my heart.

So my mind gives wings,

And i fly to you,

Everyday, all night,

In my dreams.
