Heart On Fire Poem by Ryan Lee Morris

Heart On Fire

Two wrongs don't make a right.
Hindsight is 20/20.
Wisdom comes from mistakes.
I know I've made plenty.

It's the blind leading the blind.
We walk into the same wall.
You better look before you leap.
'Cause every rise has it's fall.

Chorus:
The sky's the limit.
So it's time to look up.
If your running on empty.
He'll fill your cup.
He knows your wants.
He knows your desires.
Let him ignite your life.
And set your heart on fire.

Who do you serve?
Or does He serve you?
Was it you alone,
That made your dreams come true?

Look a gift horse in the mouth.
If you want to get bit.
Cheaters never prosper.
Winners never quit.

Chorus:
The sky's the limit.
So it's time to look up.
If your running on empty.
He'll fill your cup.
He knows your wants.
He knows your desires.
Let him ignite your life.
And set your heart on fire.

You can't seek the answer.
If you're always looking down.
It's like trying to find 3 wise men.
In a room full of clowns.
When you play with fire.
You will surely get burned.
It's not about what you lost,
But it's about what you learned.

Chorus X 2
The sky's the limit.
So it's time to look up.
If your running on empty.
He'll fill your cup.
He knows your wants.
He knows your desires.
Let him ignite your life.
And set your heart on fire.
