I close my eyes
And, to you,
I sing my heart.

Love, pain
Fear, happiness,
All yours, my king,
For the taking.

My soul laid bare,
I stand before you,
Naked, vulnerable.

You kiss me softly
And smile,
Then dress me
In all that I offered.

You clothe me
In your strength,
Surety, love.
I take your hand.
