Heartbreak Poem by Firestar Christopoulos

My heart is trembling like leaf within my emotionally storm over losing your love as mine.
Running I will be from my fluttering heart,
as the tear drops begin to fall like shattering
piece of once beautiful dream of us forever being in love,
But now all I have trusted and believed in
is now become a failing dream.
My desires of true love are shrouded in darkness of sorrow.
How did the heartbreak penetrate me so deep and fast?
Moments ago…
You and I have the world beneath our feet,
But
Within a blink of the eye,
your love faded away from reality like distant mist erasing you from my mind, heart and soul.
I shiver as the wind hauntingly cries out your name.
Now my reasons for daring life has become sunless and cold
like death has brush my compassion away
like a raging sea destroying the shoreline of hope.
The dawning of new day has now become forever twilight within my longing for death. Within my abyss of heartbreak,
I no longer turn to back for the warmth of living.
My mind is no longer tumbling with word or depth.
My heart and soul is no longer trembling and weeping for your love.
All is left is the endless pain and sorrow of my heartbreaking dream that was never mine because you wanted someone else within your arms
I fade into the darkness as the sunlight vanishes from life.
What is left?
Nothing,
but my howling crying of love failing me upon the trembling winds of life.
My heartbreak is….
You not knowing how much you mean to my heart and soul,
Or
How much I am in love with you, Theo.
My heartbreak…
Is forever here waiting for you to one day turn around reach out to me with the same amount of love I hold with this body, heart and soul for you, Theo.
