What happens when you fall in love
And know that you can't be together?
How do you make your heart stop
From loving each other?

How do you keep the feeling away
When their first sight is so breathtaking?
How do you not care
And stop your heart from breaking?

Can you stop stealing glances at them
Every once in a while?
Can you keep your mind away from their thoughts
And can you stop yourself from passing faint smiles?

How do you control the butterflies in your stomach
And understand that it's not right?
How do you stay away from that one person
Who makes you smile so bright?

How do you stop yourself from falling in love
And keep your heart with you?
How do you make a choice when you know
That chances like these are so very few?

Do you then leave your love to fate
Or do you take a chance?
Do you let it just be
Knowing that true love happens just once?

What happens when you fall in love
