Heartflung - Poem by Donna Dolorical

It's why it's called a fling:
You climb,
You soar
Towards some greater height
And from that new summit
You jump,
Hurl,
Fling
Yourself Earthwards
With all intent and
With all the confidence in the world
That neither you
Nor the ground you are about to hit

Shall get hurt.
