Indigo Poem by Donna Dolorical

Indigo

In the middle of the night
By the middle of the room
Midway 'long the darkened floor
Veiled by the half-light of the moon
Stands a girl a-waltzing with her pillow
One arm raised in half an embrace
The other clutching at half a heart
Willing it to break with grace
