Heartless. Poem by Colton Foltz

Heartless.

Rating: 5.0

Here I am laying next to you,
lost in your green eyes once again.
I'm falling in love again,
a hundard times more.
You emptied my heart fast,
And it was back out the door.

I asked myself why,
Every time your lips touched mine,
Why the f*** am I still in this lie?
Continuiously feeling half alive.

The feeling I receive from your warmth,
Beats all the drugs I've used.
To kill my own warmth,
To place your memory aside,
To find a darker place for my heart to reside.

I'm sorry that all my love for you,
Was just a waste of our time.
