May words from your lips speak true
For my heart can not break again
Silent tears fell from these eyes before, for love
Cause true love never blessed me
Lonely days have comforted my broken heart
But a voice of an angel has blessed my life
Filling my heart with laughter and smiles
Giving me the chance to live again
Thoughts cross my mind
Do I dare stay in the shadows
That I have grown to know
Or do I take your hand and let you lead me
Into the light unknown
And give you a chance with my healed heart
Do I turn my head from the past
To see a possible future
Oh how I do pray that your words are true
For I have know too much heartache
I do not know if I can endure another pain
To where my blue skies turn Grey
And blue skies seem to never return
So do I run with my heart
Or figure things clearly in my head
These thoughts never seem to die
But you have blessed my life
And I hope I have touched your heart
Like you have touched mine
