Hearts In Bonds Poem by Kelvin Elabor

Hearts In Bonds

Rating: 5.0

I have walked around the world,
seven seas and all,
trying to find the love
which was for me and you alone.

Life hasn't been fair
I can see no more of your glorious hair,
but i'll still hang on here
waiting for you to appear...

50 years later,
my love for you is greater
distance hasn't breached
what we had you and me.

Doctor says am dying,
but your thoughts keep my flying
when i said i hated you, i was lying
you were the best ever and you were mine..

If by chance anybody should see,
these things i have scribbled on this piece
don't bin it i beg thee,
publish it for the world to see
and let them feel my heart bleed

Goodbye my love
if you're still here stay strong
But if not then i'm in luck
for i know our souls will surge
and break the shackles that hold our bond.
