Heat In The Rain Poem by CHIYTWO OLA

Heat In The Rain

Watched as the dark clouds engulf the clear sky
Like the Persians did the Romans, as ideas floods the mind
Seeing the cries of the blue clouds as thou seeking reinforcement
As dark cut through the lands
Smiling at the infatuation of a sunny rain
Lesson are mostly learnt at the beginning of the very end
As i alight to feel the heat of the rain
Not just did my clothe got drained as speed was not enough
Balance was lost to the windy direction
Propelling against it force
Sense of hearing seems lost and useless as sight dwindled
Shoes; heavy like a sinking ship
My clothe was a body yelling for a safe haven
All, a race through the heat of the rain
Now, there lies my gate
Scared to open the bag for things would get wet
Yet in this cold heat I can't wait
No option is set.....
Alas! Here is d miracle
Rain drops not here, having no clue
With keys in hand just to set in
Forgotten all trails like stage setting
Hmmmmm… finally home and dry.
Such is life and our dreams trails.
