Heather Poem by Richard Noggin

Heather

Separation from all things may be
A blessing
It gives a person time to reflect
And cherish life’s riches
Today is the third day without Heather
Already, I miss her
I miss the stability she brings to my life
I miss her strong will
And even her compulsiveness
It is a shame that I have to drive
Over 600 miles away and spend a week
Without her to realize just how much she
Brings to my life
How much I care about her
But I am glad that I do realize
Her importance in my life
May I reflect upon this moment
In times when love seems so lost in
Everyday life
