Richard Noggin Poems

So you say you would love me
Till the end of time
Sit down and admirer me
If it were not a crime
...

2.

Golden blonde hair clear down to her shoulder
Pearl white teeth clear back to her molars
Eyes that shine like the moon off the bay
And a body that says lay near me and stay
...

Red hair of desire
Floating in the air
Your scent so lustrous
It takes all I have not to stair
...

Pain unfortunately tends to be everlasting
Haunting many for years
Some people don’t ever realize that they
Suffer from chronic emotional pain
...

A rule that every man should
Remember is to keep his mouth shut
I have learned this all too often the hard way
My trouble is that I am quick to form
...

Like water reaching the
Roots of the tallest tree
Your love
Seeps into my soul
...

It all ended in an hour
Two years together had no staying power
Two hearts, one beat
Just ripped apart
...

I long to be with you
But summer has built a barrier between us.
I use to wait for summer to come and free me
But now I search of a hammer to break down its walls.
...

I’ve bought my ticket
For that hell bound train.
Hopefully then
This pain will be slain.
...

Spring has sprung.
The grass has Ris.
I wonder were the flowers is?
The sun has rose.
...

If I can’t have what I want.
Then I shall wait.
Maybe never to have it.
But if so,
...

At 9: 00 p.m. I sit by the phone
At 9: 15 I feel all alone
By 9: 32 I know you’re not calling
At 9: 42 the tears keep on falling
...

I see the sea
And I think of how things can be
I walk the beach
And wish that you were in reach
...

Perhaps my expectations were too great
Or my ideas to high
But the taste of your lips so warm and soft
Fill my body with delightful passions
...

The weather is changing
It’s getting cold
My soul is freezing
Without you to hold
...

Do’s and Don’ts
Fighting the urge that feels good
Trying to convince myself of the right things
There is a point before you do something wrong
...

Lord give me the strength to do your will
To be filled with the spirit and always be still
Lord grant me the strength to suffer your cause
Allow me to submit because you are my boss
...

I am just an ordinary man
Nothing that would draw your attention on the street
A man that is at times insecure
A man that is weak
...

The Best Poem Of Richard Noggin

A Modern Response To “his Coy Mistress”

So you say you would love me
Till the end of time
Sit down and admirer me
If it were not a crime
You say that you drive by
My house night after night
Waiting for me to turn on
My bedroom light
That your love for me
Would last for years.
That the thought of my love
Makes your eyes swell with tears.
That my size and shape
Is what you most adore
That your imagination
Keeps you wanting me more.
You say that time is coming
To a close
Hurry up, come on
Take off your clothes.
That to die a virgin
Is not a sin.
But would make you a laughing stock
Among all your friends
That your life would feel
Totally incomplete
If we did not roll
Around in your back seat
My response to you is
Grow up you pathetic worm.
My answer is NO and
That is firm.
Your lust for me
Is nothing more
Then pride and selfishness
To the core
So take me home
You stupid jerk.
Your sophomoric clamor
Just did NOT work.
