Helen Poem by Joe Fraccalvieri

Helen

One picture couldn't capture that beauty...
One thought could not have explained such passion...
One word could not have expressed its truth...
And yet, one look in those eyes could bring me through doubt-
Take my pain away- make me travel past present and future

What a face! Maybe the same that could send men
against overwhelming odds- make them storm the gates of hell
it that's what it took to save just one soul

And I look into those eyes looking back at me
as though I'm the only man alive...

And all she asks is that I take out the trash...
How could I refuse? !
