Helical Protozoan Poem by Leon Moon

Helical Protozoan

Helical Protozoan -
Who put the potential
For me to ask who
Put you there? -
(Except me!)

I have run out of lives.
To me, they are homesick
Each is a light switch
Without sound;
A thing, unbearably worthless.

To think, we long for lies;
Defended with fury
And without mercy
Against ourselves:
For you, I am not yet.

Ah, the desireless...
Founded to impress,
Nurtured to digress,
Without womb;
For you, I am silent.

Helical Protozoan -
Who put the potential
For me to ask who
Put you there? -
(Except me!)

I cannot face myself
Unless I cannot see,
I do not find out,
Though, she lives;
I have run out of silence.
