Hell Poem by Darren Harris

Hell

I'm trying to understand what's going on in my life,
Whilst demons scream out their demands,
Fighting feelings of guilt and self-loathing,
Self destruction and harm are my only plans,

I hate the life that I was blessed with,
A constant fight between evil and good,
Evil demands that death is the out come,
Whilst good stood there and did all it could,

But now blood seeps from open wounds,
That the devil did with the razor blade,
Mind exploding in total confusion,
As the sunlight turns to a darkened haze,

Then I see my life ebbing away,
Into the darkness on a crimson tide,
Will there be peace at the end of the tunnel,
At the end of this roller coaster ride,

Or is the devil the strongest one,
Because he conquered good as well,
And banished us both into the pit of evil,
Sentenced forever to rot in HELL.
