Hello Stranger Poem by Windsor Guadalupe Jr

Hello Stranger

My eyes are shunned,
Enmeshed with misfortunes
And then, I have no idea
Of how you look,
Do you tousle your hair?
Do your eyes glint under the Sun?
Do your lips part in your sleep,
In your breathing, do you despair?
What’s your name?
Acquaint me, I am acquiesce
And I don’t have much time,
Because in the dangers of the tides,
And the prickly sand underneath my feet,
I always think about you,
Though you laid no vestige,
Or gramercy in between souls.
Where are you?
And why do I have to
Twine my own road
With all the wrong ones?
Why do the waves ebb
By the mere thought
That underneath the Sun,
And over the moon prancing with quandary,
There’d be you
And with your breath,
I will forget the name that I always remember
When I feel twinges and trepidation
There’d be no isolation,
There’d be no frigid, calloused November
I don’t care how long it takes – may it be forever,
When you get here, bid me,
Hello, Stranger.
