Help Me Cry Poem by heroine bard

I keep on trying to cry,
Though not longing to die.
There's something more
That I'm waiting for.
I can't give in, I have to find that pain.
It's killing me, it won't let me be
Because I want my smile slain.

I want this hurt to take me in.
I have to breathe it like oxygen.
I need to fall down-
I'm the only one now.
I want this pain and suffering.
Can you hear what I'm saying?
Just take me in. Pain, take me in.

I keep on trying to fly
But I can't be set free.
There's nothing less there for me.
So my mess is right here.
Someone say in my ear,
That it's not okay,
And the sun will burn the day.

Give me a tear,
Yes, give me a sob.
Isn't it your fear
To not do your job?
Just let go. Let go and make me cry-
For my goodbye, dear love.
