Help Me To Remember Poem by Anne Reynolds

Help Me To Remember

Rating: 3.5

I loved you like the flowers love the rain.
I needed you till it drove me insane.
I was over you just the other day,
and here you are again staring my way.

God help me to remember how I walked away.

You once meant every thing to me,
long before you got down on one knee.
I loved you since I was just a girl.
You had it all and my whole world.

Now here we are again standing face to face,
God I hope no one has taken my place.
Losing you was hard enough to get through,
I couldn't bare the thought of someone kissing you.

I loved you like the flowers love the rain.
I needed you until it drove me insane.
I was over you just the other day,
O Lord here he comes walking my way.

Help me to remember how to walk away.
