Helpless Poem by Brian Ben

Helpless

I can't see myself, when you smile;
I see something more beautiful than you.
The Time we spent together whenever I am with you,
Makes me always think of you,
When you take me into your arms,
Into the private world you keep trapped in your head,
Into your bed, and show me where to touch you,
You let me know every curve,
Every freckle, every shiver of your body.
I wish to see the shape of your lips say what you memorized,
But your voices takes on me and am helpless.
That time when you whisper venom into my ears,
you seize my heart, you invade my blood,
and I can only feel you deep under my skin.
