Helpless Thoughts Of The Surreal Poem by Andy Barrette

Helpless Thoughts Of The Surreal

Helpless thoughts of the surreal-
all that I can see and feel-
are rolling over worlds unknown
while I am falling all alone.

Anchored in the air,
volcanoes bursting into space;
Sailing cars and dying stars
seem strangely out of place.
