Her Deception Poem by Hawk Smith

Her Deception

Rating: 4.5

I still love her with all of my heart,
But her decisions and actions have teared us apart.

What am i to say to her? I am so confused,
I fear it will take years for my heart to become unbruised.

You never lover me, and you ment for this to happen,
Your true person is comming out by all of your actions.

Listen to me closely for i shall be blunt,
You have ignored all my wishes, and this is not what i want.

Its hard to believe this is all Gods plan,
When your calling the shots, and the cards are in your hand.

You want to control me and tell me what to do,
I realize my true character must now be proved.

I must be understanding and my temper be mild,
For you have made this decision to keep this child.

The poem had a very even cadence to it when I read it out loud. I don't know if you did that on purpose, but it made the poem seem conversational and strained so nice job. It's never an easy decision, I imagine.
