Her Face Poem by cristobal obregon silvertop

Her Face

Rating: 3.5

Her face i will never see again, my reward, a tempest, and a wall. The satyrs keep playing in the forest, but I am alone.I see gods face in the light, he shows me her, in the square, in the cobbled street, underneath the parasol, on the waves, in the reflections of the windows, in the colours of the cars as they speed past, in the palm trees as they sway in the wind. How else will i know the message of how she feels, what she wants from me, how she calls me, where i am to go. How else am i to be reminded of her face, her spirit flies, her beauty knows no bounds, its everywhere, its in me as I breathe it, and I am comforted, I breathe out, she is gone, but if just one atom of her, one taste, i woudl be satisfied, the skyskcrapers would be more beautifull, rubies brighter red, the sky bigger. and i would be changed forever, how can i chew this bread. ....................................
