Her Gaze Poem by Praful Rao

Her Gaze

I was a free man before her gaze touched me, proud in my bitterness, arrogant in my loneliness. I wore my isolation like a crown.

I thought myself invincible.

And yet it took only one look one careless, unknowing glance from her, to undo me entirely.
