I've traveled down a dark and lonely road,
And have gotten lost along the way.
Until a guiding light came shining through,
And made things as clear as day.

I wasn't so sure where to go,
Everything to me was such a blur.
But my vision became crystal clear,
From the moment that I saw her.

I never knew what love really was,
All those years I'd been so wrong.
My life was going nowhere fast,
Until the day she came along.

My heart was full of loneliness,
Nothing was able to fill the void.
But now her love consumes me,
And I'm completely overjoyed.
