Her Or Me? - Poem by leanna markgraf
I was scared to fall
scared to let anyone in.
Then you came along
and became my sin.
Your words were like a fairytale,
so beautiful and sweet.
But your secrets
make you so discreet.
I thought you were different
but proved to be the same.
How could you put my already broken heart
through this familiar pain?
You promised forever to someone else
and left me all alone.
Is it going to be her or me
that you will call your own?
