Her words are the armor of my soul.
The only thing that makes me whole.
"I care for you" makes me strong,
And makes me want to go on.
"I like you" gives me strength to abide
The pain that has made my heart hide.
"I am attracted to you" gives me hope
That someday I will no longer grope
For the woman that will give me a chance
To give the pain of the past not a glance.
