Here Alone Poem by Trisha White

Here Alone

I stood so strong,
thinking nothing could go wrong.
Till my world came crashing down.
You were nowhere to be found,
There wasn't even a sound.
A knock upon my door
gave me a feeling that you were no more.
I see you flying high in the sky,
but still i can't see why.
You died so young,
your life had not yet begun.
Now I sit and cry alone
as I stare at your stone.
How could you leave me alone?
to sit here and cry at your stone
