Here, But Only For A Little While - Poem by Elizabeth Ann Harrison

Here, but only for a little while
Let us think of the flowers, how they bloom
They are beautiful, but only here for a little while Look at the dew how it sparkles and shines like
diamonds from a far and distant land, adding new
life to the earth, for it is here but only for a
little while and it's gone
Life itself is a gift from God that we are given
but only for a little while
