A great time it was—can never forget;
Won't make it go, don't want to let,
But now the end's set
Seems like just yesterday we met.
An unforgettable parting, ending in grief;
The time was too little, found it really brief;
We got to let go, take our own paths
While letting a dagger sink deep into our hearts.
No relations can define, no measurements taken;
Piercing me are your arrows and darts—
With memories haunting the subconscious often,
Really finding it hard to move apart.
Just a wave of the hand while moving away
Or a touch of lips with a hug—
Does not mean it's the last day,
We're still bound together, warm and snug.
While going down a darkened slope,
Sinking into the depths of pain;
We needn't lose our hopes—
For the world's round and we'll meet again...
