Here's Looking At You



To look at you is not enough
the moment requires a stare
and a stare cannot be a glancing one
it must breathe with consuming air.
The hardest part is to try not to blink
or a piece of the moment will flee.
No, looks like yours must be scrutinized,
then engrained in the memory.
