I look at you looking at me.
Feels like a feeling meant to be.
And as your hand moves with mine.
It's like I'm lifted out of time.
I've been waiting so long for a love that's real to come my way.
It's going to take some getting used to, now that love is here to stay.
You've turned my life around and I can't believe you're here today.
I love the blessing you put me under, you take my breath away.
All those lonely days and nights were all worth going through.
It's like I've waited all my life so I can be with you.
Like an angel out the sky you came.
And ignited my little fire into a flame.
Clearing up all the clouds, the sadness and the rain.
So pure and healing was the love that you bring, I just can't explain.
I was scared to let go and trust your love.
After what I've been through I had had enough.
Through your eyes a whisper came.
And I was left never the same.
Because you brought me hope, peace, and joy.
A love that I can actually enjoy.
