Sons Of Adam Poem by Anna Petrashishina

Sons Of Adam

Eve gave birth to Cain and then Abel.
Adam and Eve's life outside the garden was becoming stable.
Abel became a keeper of sheep.
He would take care of them and watch as they leap.
Cain became a tiller of the ground.
Maybe he didn't like how sheep sound.
Cain was angered that Abel's offering was pleased the Lord more.
Jealousy and anger began to reap at his core.
When Cain got the chance he killed his brother in the field.
He thought the voice of the blood he spilled was sealed.
But the voice of his brother's blood cried out from the ground.
And the Lord God heard it's sound.
Even the earth itself cried out against Cain.
He became a fugitive and lived a life that was insane.
Cain wanted to die, but God wanted him to suffer.
Nobody could kill him or else God would make revenge tougher.
Later he took a wife and she gave birth to a son named Enoch, in the land of Nad.
I'm sure his life was nothing more than sad.
