Here To Stay Poem by William B. Deutscher

Here To Stay

Here to stay,
at least for a day.
Wondering what,
anyway.
Here to stay,
exclusive to none,
lost in play
before it's done.
Here to stay
in another space.
Not enough for us,
anyplace.
Here to stay
in a fortnight's hope.
Living it up
on a wayward note.
Measuring now
all diversions old and new;
a soupçon of drama just for you.
Here to stay,
our beauteous dream,
hidden away
like a secret mountain stream.
