Hero Poem by Garrett Beget

Hero

she holds my eye, my eye so clear
perilous skin I do review
limpid path roams so far away
sweet smelling, your fragrance pure laugh out loud and roll with the flowing seasons
wait a while, daydreams are what I invent
if you should be so noble
then please wait for me lover
wink your eye, turn to me, and have me forever you caper so long, you plummet so far
one mistake, I cannot believe
take me into the clouds up high
cold outside, warm inside, I died float with feathers and hold that thought outside
blow a kiss, one that would be hard to miss
if you could be so kind
then please stand beside my side
be my hero, sip my breath, and hear my cry
