Hesitation Poem by Paula Bon

Hesitation

I would like to tell you
But it just won't come out
The word's 'I Love You'
Keeps on running around

My thinking capacity
Has long been overwhelmed
By the thoughts of you
I add everyday

And since you're leaving now
How I wish I could say
These words that I kept
To myself and no one else

I'd be happy to tell you
But I don't want to be swept away
By your sudden decision
To leave everything behind
And begin a new journey

I'd like to portray my feelings to you
In a proper and rightful way
But my mind keeps hesitating
Weather my feelings are true
Or just a game given by destiny

To test the extent of our abilities
It is destinies goal in life
Same goes to faith
Which gives us our path
And decisions we choose from

This is why I hesitate
To let my feelings pour
I try to be logical
Yet by doing so
I've wasted much time

Precious time that cannot be replaced
The chance to tell you how I truly feel
I'm knowledgable about all this
And yet I still hesitate
Wether to tell you or not

I hope my mind would clear
By the time you're still with me
When there's still a chance
That maybe, you'll love me
