Hey, Hello, Hi. Poem by Jodie Louise Pollock

Hey, Hello, Hi.

Hey, hello, hi,
Tra, cya, bye,
There are many different ways,
We use them all on different days,
We don’t even notice,
Well that’s coz we never really focus,
On the words we use day after day,
On all the words we hear as well as say,
So for all the slang words we've ever used,
Let’s admit it now so we cant be accused,
Let’s start and talk right,
During the day and the night,
So that we can say we talk proper,
Like a little posh copper,
There we go again,
And this time I will take the blame,
For I’ve just spoke slang to you,
While in the middle of trying to tell you not to,
I'd understand now if you didn’t listen to me,
But remember this is so we can be the best we can be,
You don’t have to be perfect,
Or speak in the perfect dialect,
We just want you to try your best,
But we know you'll pass this little test,
So instead of saying ii,
And instead of saying hey,
Learn to say bye,
Learn to say okay,
So as you can see,
It's really quite easy,
But habits die hard,
So just remember your not cald,
And you’re not beefing,
You’re either warm or your freezing,
And this little change,
Even though it’s a little strange,
Can change people’s outlook on you,
And maybe even me too,
So I’m going to give this challenge a go,
Whether I get there fast or slow,
I want to make it to the end,
Are you going to join me friend?
See I’ve started already,
Now it’s your turn ready, steady,
GO! ! !

(Don’t know what this is about lol)
