Hidden In The Glass Poem by Jon Treadway

Hidden In The Glass

Living here I want to stay,
that’s what I used to say.
Picking up the fragments of what I have left,
alone in the shadows walking step by step.
Dream my dreams another day,
that’s what I used to say.
In spite of all my fears and hopes
I lie tied down, bound by ropes.
I want the sun to shine in the rain,
that’s what I used to say
